Lauren was first introduced to Pilates through teachers at Pilates 804. She quickly fell in love with it when she realized how much Pilates changed her body and helped her move easier and without pain. She has been an assistant teacher with jazz, tap, ballet, and modern dance classes. More recently, she was an assistant teacher in aerial silks at Host of Sparrows Aerial Circus. Lauren was very excited when she learned about the Teacher Training Program at Pilates 804 because she could combine passions for teaching and helping people through exercise. She is eager to start her journey and to use the knowledge that she learns from the Teacher Training Program to help people through teaching Pilates.
Stacey grew up with a love for dance and movement. With a strong interest in anatomy, health and wellness, she received her BS at James Madison University in Health and Science. She went on to receive her MS in physical therapy at MCV/VCU in 1996. Since graduating, she has practiced PT in both the outpatient orthopedic and home health settings. Throughout the years, she has found fulfillment in helping others and continues to value a sense of her own well being. She has found enjoyment in weight training, running and yoga in the past however Pilates has given a greater sense of stability yet freedom in her own body. With the loving support of her husband and two daughters she chose the TTPP to guide her own her journey to helping others.
